Our Juniors Program is a fun and friendly recreational league for kids in grades KG, 1, and 2. The program emphasizes fun, touches on the ball, and positive encouragement. Players sign up season to season. KG and 1st graders meet on Saturday mornings for soccer learning activities and scrimmages. 2nd grade teams practice once per week and play games on Saturday afternoons in Newton.

Players must commit to two seasons. Teams practice twice a week and play games on Saturdays within the Boston Area Youth Soccer League. Although teams are led by volunteer coaches, they have regular access to professional trainers.
Learn MoreThe Academy Program is an invitation-only, three-season program for highly skilled players in grades 3 – 8 seeking an additional challenge and a developmental soccer experience in addition to their NGS Travel Team. Teams are professionally coached and train up to twice a week (in addition to their Travel team practices). Academy teams also compete on Sundays within the New England Club Soccer League.

Girls in the program get an hour of player-focused training with a professional coach each week. The curriculum used for the training sessions is age-appropriate training centered around player development and enjoyment of the game. We offer 6-week sessions in the fall, winter, and spring.

NGS Professional Trainers focus on teaching individual techniques, skills, and tactics that are vital for all soccer players in a fun and exciting environment. Players are divided into groups based on age and level. Players of all abilities are welcome. A typical day includes a technical theme, skills challenges, shooting games, and scrimmages.
Learn MoreNGS has more than 1200 players and 250 coaches participating in our programs. Within such a large program, one finds a wide range of interest and ability. For some participants, soccer as their primary activity; they are highly motivated to play as much as possible. Other players are committed to multiple extracurriculars; soccer is enjoyable, but not their passion. Avoid frustration by selecting the program that best matches your child’s current level of enthusiasm, skill set, and availability.
