Academy Uniforms

All NGS Academy players are required to wear an official uniform for games and practices. The NEFC Newton Academy Game Uniform consists of “home” and “away” jersey, shorts, and socks. Jerseys include both the Newton Academy and NEFC logos, and are customized with the player’s number on the back. The number is assigned by the registrar. Uniforms are not included in the program fee. The game kit costs $171 (after NEFC discount) and is purchased through WeGotSoccer.

The Academy and Development Academy Practice Uniform consists of a navy jersey, shorts and socks. The jersey is customized with the player’s number as assigned by the registrar. The practice bundle costs $74 and is purchased through the NGS Store operated by Number One Source.

Training jacket and pants and other Newton Academy gear are optional.

We have found that the “life span” for Adidas gear is about 2 – 3 years because it is their practice to change their styles frequently. Players will need to buy new uniforms from time to time as styles are discontinued. A new style has been released for 2023 – 2024 and we anticipate that it will be replaced for the 2025 – 2026 season. As long as the style doesn’t change, you only need to order a new uniform if your daughter does not have one or her current uniform does not fit, or you are notified by the registrar that there are duplicate numbers on her team.

A note about jersey numbers: Returning players will generally keep their previously assigned number. However, when we merge multiple age groups or a player moves from a development team to an academy team, we may end up with duplicate numbers on a team. If this happens, the younger or new player will be assigned a new number and asked to purchase a new jersey. Contact registrar@newtongirlssoccer.org to confirm your number.

Parents are responsible for ordering the correct sized jersey, shorts and socks. Because these are custom orders, no returns or refunds are accepted. We suggest that you confirm the size before placing an order.

NEFC Newton Academy Game Uniform

All NEFC Newton Academy team players must purchase a game uniform kit from WeGotSoccer. Order carefully to ensure that you receive the correct kit.  Our jersey has the Newton Academy logo on the sleeve and the NEFC logo on the chest. There are 6 items in our kit. List price is $190.
