Kathleen Siciak

Katie grew up in Newton, where her involvement in soccer began at age 5. She started her soccer career with Newton Girls Soccer and played on the Newton South Varsity Team in High School. While at Newton South, she was ranked as the #1 player in the Dual County League during her senior year and was voted to the All-State team. Notably, in 2016, Katie was the youngest athlete inducted into the Newton South HS Athletic Hall of Fame.

Following her high school achievements, Katie pursued a place on the Division I soccer team as a walk-on at the University of New Hampshire. However, she consciously prioritized her academic pursuits while maintaining her involvement in club and intramural sports. After graduating from UNH, she redirected her passion for soccer towards coaching, ultimately assuming the role of JV head coach at Newton South High School. Katie remains active in soccer, participating in the Eastern Mass Women’s Soccer League. Outside of soccer, you’ll find Katie running, hiking, and spending time with her family.
